Below you will find a nice recipe for granola. There are so many ways you can make it your own.

Try a spicy version using one of our Sweet Dandelion seasoning blends maybe change out the honey for a Sweet Dandelion rose or lavender sugar.

Ingredients:
7 cups oatmeal
1 cup cashews, almonds, or pecans (any nut or mix of nuts)
1 cup ground flax seed (can use wheat germ, whole wheat flour or almond flour)
1 cup grated coconut
1/2 cup sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, or any other seed....
1 1/2 cups peanut butter (optional)
1/2 cup corn oil
1/2 cup honey
1/3 cup water
1 Tablespoon Sweet Dandelion Vanilla Extract (Cinnamon, Coffee...)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup raisins, cranberries, chocolate chips, blueberries...
Directions: for crunchy granola
Preheat oven to 350° F
Layer two cookie sheets with parchment paper or use cooking spray and lightly coat. Set aside
Combine oatmeal, nut of choice, ground flax, coconut, sunflower seed in large bowl.
Mix peanut butter (optional), corn oil, honey, water, vanilla and salt in seperate bowl.
Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients, stir.
Spread evenly onto the prepared cookie sheets and bake for 15 minutes
Remove and stir ingredients
Bake another 10-15 minutes.
Let cool
Add raisins, cranberries, other type berries, chocolate chips or other baking chips.
Directions: for bars
Layer cookie sheet or cake pan with parchment paper or use cooking spray to lightly coat. Set aside
Melt peanut butter, corn oil, honey, water, vanilla and salt together in a saucepan over low/medium heat.
Combine oatmeal, nut of choice, ground flax, coconut, sunflower seed, and berries in large bowl.
Pour the liquid mixture over the dry ingredients and fold to coat.
Pour the granola mix into the prepared pan and press into a flat layer.
Let cool for a few minutes (do not want to melt the chocolate/baking chips)
Sprinkle extra coconut, berries, chocolate/baking chips on top and lightly press into top of bar.
Finish cooling at room temperature until set, about 15 minutes before cutting into bars.
