Recipe: Asian Five Spice Flank Steak

1 teaspoon Sweet Dandelion Asian Five Spice Seasoning

1 teaspoon light brown sugar

3/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (optional)

1- 1 pound flank steak

1 Tablespoon olive oil

Combine Sweet Dandelion Asian Five Spice Seasoning, brown sugar, and ground red pepper in a small bowl. Place flank steak on plate and rub mixture on both sides of steak.

Heat large cast-iron skillet over medium high heat. Add olive oil to skillet and swirl to coat.

Add steak to skillet, cook 4 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.

Remove steak from skillet, let rest 5-10 minutes.

Cut steak across the grain into thin slices.

Add a side dish of your choice and enjoy.
